It seems as though we have been in the car a lot lately... with hubby and I both being teachers... summers off allow us to travel and visit family without the worries of taking time off from work. nice! no restricitons or deadlines to be back... makes time with family a little more relaxing.
However... as nice as it is to come and go as we please... the untold hours in the car are not so much fun... especially for hubby (my eyes just get so tired).
With that being said... we are in the works of planning a 14 hour drive to Flordia in 2 weeks... Yay for Flordia and the hot summer sun... Boo for FOURTEEN hours in the car...

14 hours in a car is miserable. Especially at these gas prices. Have fun though!
Yuck.. I've got to agree that that does not sound like fun! If you need to take a break where I-95 meets the Savannah area (I-16).. we actually live not that far off of the interstate. =o) (Although if it's during the week we will be at work). I hope you guys are enjoying all that traveling! Sounds like fun. We haven't even spent the night anywhere else since having Avery.
